As a New York-based photographer, I find myself frequently traversing the city in search of the perfect shot. But the beauty of photography isn't always about the big, grand gestures. That's exactly what I found at the New York Public Library's Stephen A Schwarzman building.When you think about the New York Public Library, the immediate image that comes to mind might be the Beaux-Arts architecture, the majestic lions guarding the entrance, or the vast collection of books. But for me, it's the unique stories that unfold within its walls, and that's exactly what I intend to capture with my camera.This particular day, I was there for an engagement session. The couple, clearly in love, had a connection that was palpable - it was 'everything', as I captioned on my Instagram post. As soon as I spotted them, I knew I had a golden opportunity to capture something truly special.I positioned them against the iconic backdrop of the library, their love story adding a new chapter to the history of the building. With my trusty Nikon ZF at my side, I focussed on capturing the chemistry between them - the subtle glances, the tender touches, the shared laughter.
